What to do in case of loss of personal belongings depending on the place you are. If you are still at the airport or already left it
If you lost something on board your flight or your checked baggage is missing, please contact your airline.
If you lost or forgot any belongings within the airport premises you can go to the Lost and Found office.
If you’re still at the airport
Please stop by one of the lost and found desks. Someone may have delivered your lost item, ID card or driver’s license. You can claim it immediately, or a representative will advise you on what to do next.
Location of Lost and Found Counters:
– Kelderplein, (between arrivals 1 and 2, once you arrive, come down)
– Lounge 1, after the T2 and T3 transfer counters, near the C-Pier.
– Holland Boulevard (between E and F Piers).
If you’ve already left the airport
Want to know if your lost item has been found?
Provides all the details in the lost and found form. The more features you specify, the faster they could find it. You can also use the Lost & Found service. If you recognize the item, you can claim it directly.
How to collect your belongings or have them delivered
If you receive an email to inform you that your item has been found, you can pick it up at the Lost & Found counter between Arrivals 1 and 2 during regular opening hours. The email will also give you the option to have your property delivered by mail.
Lost passports, driver’s licenses or official identification.
The identification and driver’s licenses found are collected the next day and delivered to the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee. You can ask in the Customer Contact Center if they have found the documentation. You can call 0800-1814 if you call from the Netherlands.
